Animals at the Court. Lives never seen in the Royal Gardens

Animals at the Court. Lives never seen in the Royal Gardens is the group exhibition presented by the Royal Museums as part of the larger Lives on Earth project started in 2021 with the exhibition Animals from A to Z. The intent is to bring the attention to the countless and amazing forms of life that inhabit our planet, focusing on animals. The exhibition, curated by Stefania Dassi and Carla Testore, is the proposal with which the Royal Museums intend to create an innovative tour, where the techniques and languages of contemporary art interact with the setting of the ancient residence. The path winds, in part, in the Royal Gardens, an important element of the museum’s identity, as well as a precious meeting place for citizens and tourists.

The artists involved are: Mariagrazia Abbaldo e Paolo Albertelli, Maura Banfo, Nazareno Biondo, Nicola Bolla, Stefano Bombardieri, Jessica Carroll, Fabrizio Corneli, Cracking Art, Diego Dutto, Ezio Gribaudo, Michele Guaschino, Luigi Mainolfi, Gino Marotta, Mario Merz, Pino Pascali e Velasco Vitali.
