“The Call of the Wolves” is a Cracking Art project curated by Asilo Bianco. From Saturday, July 29 until the end of October, a pack of 50 large colorful wolves will colonize woods, streets, gardens, villas and balconies between Miasino, Ameno and Orta San Giulio.
The wolves will be arranged along the Nigra Trail, a path laid out by Itinerarium that starts from the Basilica of San Giulio on the island of the same name and connects the places of architect Carlo Nigra (1856-1942), a multifaceted figure who was extremely forward-looking and who shaped, redesigned and modeled the landscape of Lake Orta that we see today. The different stages touch on the parish church and Sacro Monte in Orta, Villa Nigra and its garden, the Church of San Rocco and the Giardino dei semplici in Miasino, the Villa with Monte Oro Park and the neo-Gothic Tornielli Park in Ameno.
Asilo Bianco is a working platform born in 2005 on Lake Orta, Piedmont, a generative gesture by artist Enrica Borghi. For years she has been working to regenerate forgotten places and to germinate the culture of a territory through the seeds of contemporary art. Asilo Bianco promotes a programming of online and in-person courses and workshops (Asilo Bianco Academy) and interdisciplinary cultural events. That of the association is a commitment that looks at art, architecture, design, cinema, literature, photography, social, and the environment.

A mega installation unites the McArthur Designer Outlets in Marcianise (CS), Barberino del Mugello (FI) and Noventa di Piave (VE) in a summer game about art, nature and learning.
Hundreds of works are installed along the paths of the three centers, and visitors are invited to look for them to photograph as in real photo safaris. Each work is paired with a meaning that introduces the symbols that each animal represents. An itinerary dedicated primarily to the younger generations but which is certainly capable of enthusing everyone.
As its now more than established practice Cracking Art seeks the surprise effect, the blood relationship and sharing to communicate the values of caring for the environment and be food for thought for progress that is both humane and inclusive. Art as a vehicle for a direct, understandable and engaging message.
The installations will be on view until Sept. 17 at the Marcianise and Noventa di Piave centers and until Sept. 24 at Barberino del Mugello.
These are amazing installations that will animate the gardens of Piazza Bartolo Longo from July 6 to September 6, 2023.
An artistic event, promoted by the City of Pompeii and Mayor Carmine Lo Sapio, that touches on universal and highly topical issues: the increasingly evident gap between human beings and nature, the recovery and regeneration of plastic, and human progress in relation to environmental sustainability.
They will in fact be large animals, made by Cracking Art out of regenerated and regenerable plastic, that will change the normal perception of the place by interacting with the architectural and natural elements on the site, as well as with all the people who will freely enjoy their presence.
A large red elephant will rest its head on one of the palm trees in the garden, in a gesture of support for the plant that at the same time represents the contact between an element of nature with an artificial, plastic element, in search of a renewed balance between the two elements. A contact in which the memory of what we have been is a guide for the future.
A flock of five large swallows will elect the large central fountain as its nest in search of that fundamental life-sustaining element: water. The swallow, an animal known for its constant migrations, seeks the best place and conditions that enable life. Here arises the hope that climate change will not force them to move.
Special thanks to Rosanna Battigaglia and Assciazione Civitates Pompei for making the event possible.
2023, in Giulianova, will be the year of “Urban Fables.” Telling them, for six months, are colorful installations by Cracking Art, the collective that has been working, since 1993, on a global scale and with a message that combines modern art and environmentalism, originality and green spirit.
36 plastic sculptures depicting snails, elephants and wolves have been placed in Fosse Ardeatine Square, Dalmatia Square and on the Belvedere. They will remain there until December, but according to an itinerant strategy, a temporary mode, which will allow the installations to be placed in other places in Giulianova, in other squares, gardens or neighborhoods. Not surprisingly, one of the snails, from Dalmatia Square, has already found a new home on the terrace of Palazzo Bindi. Extravagant tourists, then, the creatures of this small artistic “zoo,” arrived to testify to five fundamental values: art, sustainability ( all the works are made of regenerated and regenerable plastic), invasion ( to arouse amazement in the eyes of inhabitants and passers-by), interaction ( in the search for the emotional and empathic involvement of those who attend as an active part of the installation), solidarity ( Cracking Art installations support fundraising for cultural and social projects of the host territory).
An invasion of giant sculptures of snails will characterize the 13th edition of the “A Arte Chegou” a project of the Colombo Center in Lisbon that aims to contribute to the democratization of culture by making it free and available to all.
The “REGENER’ART” art exhibition, curated by the artistic collective Cracking Art, aims to stimulate debate on the importance and environmental impact of plastic regeneration.
Cracking Art exhibits for the first time in Portugal with an installation of 126 snails of various sizes arranged in the central square of the Colombo Center in a 360º visual experience. The works will also be present in two railway stations in Lisbon (Rossio and Roma Areeiro).
An open-air collective exhibition organized by the Brescian Marble Consortium in collaboration with the Santa Giulia Academy of Fine Arts was inaugurated on Thursday 18 May in the Burgazzi marble quarry of Rezzato (BS).
With the aim of assisting in the enhancement of stone culture in the contemporary world, the project was born from an idea of Angelo “Lillo” Marciano – sculptures, curator and visionary animator of many cultural initiatives – who passed away in August 2022, precisely during the planning of this event.
Artworks by: Cracking Art, Renzo Nucara & Carla Volpati, Dorothy Bhawl, Stefano Bombardieri, Armida Gandini, Franco Ghirardi, Gianpietro Moretti, Angelo Confortini, Ivan Confortini, GAC ProgettoUtopia.

The huge and colorful animal sculptures invade the gardens, avenues, streets and buildings of the island of Albarella, in the Po Delta Park. They are wolves, elephants, crocodiles, meerkats, frogs and snails in regenerated plastic, exhibited on the island from 8 April to 31 July with the exhibition of Cracking art “Natural | Artificial”.
The installations are presented in a surprising tour spread throughout the island, in the province of Rovigo, which addresses the themes of art, regeneration and eco-sustainability. The original sculptures of the colorful art of the Cracking Art movement, active with over 500 installations all over the world, dialogue with the urban and architectural spaces of a territory very sensitive to environmental protection issues. The works solicit a collective reflection on the environmental theme: regenerating plastic means removing it from toxic and devastating destruction for the environment, giving it new life and transforming it into art through an aesthetic, innovative and ecological language. Walking through the lagoon, the roads and streets of the Island of Albarella you can admire the spectacular Cracking Art fauna, which seems to come from a fantasy world, and discover a beautiful territory, protected by Unesco.
