Cracking Art and Purina collaborate for the first “Pet Week” of Milan with 50 artworks in support of ENPA (National Association for the Protection of Animals) adoptions.

On the occasion of the first milanese week dedicated to pets, Purina will color Via Dante with exclusive Cracking Art artworks, representing the more than 35,000 pets awaiting adoption in ENPA shelters across Italy.
The four-legged friends invade Milano: together with many animals present in the city for Pet week, Via Dante, a few steps from the Duomo, will be scattered with 50 exclusive statues representing dog and cats.
A real “Pet Street” has been born by Cracking Art and Purina.
The installation is part of the project “Welcome Home”, launched by Purina for Pet Week. The concept wants to shed light on the concept of “home” not just as a physical space, but also, and perhaps more so, as a mental and emotional space. From this concept the artistic idea of Cracking Art was born, with its works arranged in circles, in a sort of reverse reception: 10 “islands” composed of cats and dogs who embrace all those who interact with them.
Everyone one of these works represents one of the many dogs and cats taken in by ENPA shelters. To facilitate the meeting of the pet in search of a home and their future family, the online platform “Welcome Home” has been created on purina.it.

An invasion of multicoloured artworks arrives in Lecco thanks to the initiative of three young university students

From September 7th to October 27th in various locations around the city

A peaceful and colourful invasion of 36 artworks depicting animals will take place in characteristic points around the town; involving spectators, both adults and children, in a contemporary fairytale that invites reflection on universal themes such as regeneration, nature, and the landscape.

The event was born thanks to the initiative of three young students of the Economics of Cultural Heritage course at the Università Cattolica of Milan. They participated and won a business game proposed by Cracking Art, in which they were invited to propose and plan an installation of the collective.

This is the title of the installation of two giant red elephants realised in Piazza della Vittoria in Pavia, to anticipate the opening of the newly renovated Natural History Museum of the University of Pavia.

The two Cracking Art elephants, realised in regenerable plastic, are a direct reference to two elephant specimens that have been kept at the museum since the 50s. The artworks, in dialogue at a distance with the real specimens, underline the increasingly extreme passage from life regulated by natural laws to dynamics imposed by technology and the progressive removal of man from nature.

In the installation, people are invited to become a part of the work by inserting themselves between the two opposing sculptures, placing themselves as an element of connection and participation.
It was 2009 that our “Wolf” artwork came to light.
It was in that year that Maurizio Zanella, owner of the Cà del Bosco winery, asked Cracking Art to search for the image of an animal that would find its ideal location on the Erbusco estate, among the vineyards and the forest.
Thus the idea of the wolf, a guardian wolf, was born, in an alert yet benevolent position. The lines of the design trace the contours of an almost hieratic wolf, softened by a slight smile.
10 years after the birth of the artwork, the collaboration was renewed with the creation of the wolf cub, as a good omen for the renewal of life through the balance and collaboration between human activities and nature.
Our installation in the town of Escaldes-Engordany in Andorra has opened.
The protagonists of this installation in the central street of the city are the Snails and their message about the regeneration of materials and places through Art.
The installation, which will be present along the entire pedestrian avenue, is composed of 3 giant, 13 medium, and 5 small snails and will be on view until September 25th, 2019.

The Polytechnic University of Marche celebrates 50 years with a series of exhibitions.

For 5 months, the exhibition “Polytechne” will see the works of various artists who have created or are carrying out site specific works for the university’s offices, demonstrating the possibile integration between the research fields of science and art.

The snails invade the building of the art school of New Holland, the artificial island in the center of St. Petersburg, from June 21st to October 31st.

Today begins a new installation: Animal Beat.
The Festival of Invasions is an urban festival that takes place in Cosenza in the month of July, and is among the most interesting on the national scene.
A Festival, but above all an opportunity to experience differently the identifying places of the city.
The main squares, the historic gardens, the cultural heritage become a theatre of different artistic languages: music, words, visual arts, all through a symbol of contamination.
This Saturday May 11th marks the opening of the The 58th Venice Art Biennale.
Throughout the duration of the exhibition, we will be present with an installation at the Palazzo Fondazione Masieri (Dorsoduro 3900) with URBANIMAL. Curated by the art gallery G’Art, this artistic project reflects on the urban and contemporary exhibition space as a living organism.
Over the next few months, the Palazzo will welcome- as a refuge- the ideas of a selection of internationally renowned artists under the silent and watchful presence of both the city of Venice and our meerkats.

Giardini d’Agrumi 2019 is enriched with Limonaie Spring, an exclusive installation by Cracking Art that seeks to symbolise a new spring for Garda citrus trees (from April 25th to May 15th at the port of Gargnano).

Swallows represent for all the awakening of nature. Their colours, chosen for the installation to recall citrus fruits (oranges and lemons) and their leaves, connect the rebirth of spring with the return of a real interest in the citrus trees of Garda and their products, creating a project which promotes the enhancement of the landscape and its production.
